“Sue Pryke is a designer who perfectly illustrates the fact that design for mass production can be of a high quality and have warmth, her designs are simple and pared down, they have an understated elegance that places them within the Super Normal design typology.”
Bespoke dinnerware designed for The Stratford Hotel & Restaurants in London
I worked with chefs Ben Harrington and Patrick Powell to develop a range of dinnerware in bone china, made in Stoke on Trent and another collection of coloured tableware pieces which are made in my studio for the Stratford Brasserie and some elements for Patrick’s Allegra restaurant within the new build. It’s a huge project and I’m proud to have my dinnerware in three of the restaurants as well as in the rooms in the hotel.

“Understated, afford-able, functional and elegant. Sounds easy but is very hard to achieve.
Designs that fit in rather than stand out,
a true test of excellence. ”
